I-96 Speedway Announces 2010 Racer Payout
3-26-2010 ---The I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, MI has announced the 2010 payout for the UMP Late Model, UMP Modified, UMP Street Stocks and Four Cylinder race divisions.
After much research and discussion with car owners, drivers, spectators and other speedway promoters the I-96 Speedway is excited to list the following as the standard GUARANTEED payout for each of the four racing divisions that will compete for 2010 track championships.
There will be several special events with larger purses for each race division, already announced for opening night April 24 is a Four Cylinder Spectacular with a $300 to win and $50 to start feature.
An UMP modified event paying $1,000 to win is on the schedule and the UMP Late Models will have several opportunities for extra winnings with two ALMS events, the UMP Summer Nationals, a Mid-Season championship race and a 40th Anniversary race program.
The regularly scheduled race payouts for each I-96 Speedway division for 2010 are as follows:

The I-96 Speedway will begin the 2010 campaign with an event on Saturday April 24. This will mark the debut of the new 3/8 mile oval that will be the primary track of use in 2010. The I-96 Speedway ½ mile will only be used for special events such as the World of Outlaws, AMA Grand National motorcycles, SOD Sprint Cars and the UMP Summer Nationals.
The new 3/8 mile track will officially debut with test and tunes scheduled for the weekends of April 10, 11 and17, 18.
